Antifoam Injection skid

Foaming is formed due to various factor such as pressure drop, asphaltene content, wax, unstable oils, etc,. Foaming will prolonged due to not quickly soluble with fluids. Foaming is serious problem in Crude oil Production during well testing , Early production facility also in all chemical and pharma industries. Foaming will damage instruments in the production equipments such as Separators, Heater Treater, Scrubbers, Knock Out Drums, which also effect steady state stable crude production directly effect revenue of the company. Foaming will also reduce the capacity of separators, which are used to separate oil and gas from crude oil. Foaming will cause liquid to carry over through the gas line, which can contaminate products and damage scrubbers and compressors.

    To avoid such scenarios in production plants , Lab tested Antifoam chemicals, also known as defoamers, are chemical additives that prevent or reduce the formation of foam, which are made from a various chemicals based on tendency of foaming. Antifoam chemicals act as a interface agent which will react with insoluble chemicals which work by entering the interface between the air and the bubble wall, spreading the bubble wall, and supress the bubble formation. All this defoaming actions need to be performed online using Injection stations where Antifoam injections chemicals are injected in pipelines. When seeing Antifoam Injection skid are looking very small , but involved in saving huge revenue loss during production.

Antifoam chemicals are non reactive with actual products and will be collected as residue in by products without any issues.
