A well testing choke manifold is a system of valves and chokes that controls the flow of fluids and gases from a well during testing. It's a key piece of equipment for well testing and has several important functions, including:

• Controlling wellhead pressure: This improves safety.
• Maintaining a flow rate: This is required for testing.
• Preventing sand from entering the well: This is done by limiting the flow rate.

A well testing choke manifold typically has four manual gate valves, or five if it includes a bypass valve. It also has a standard two flow system, one through a positive choke and one through an adjustable choke.
