Fuel Gas Conditioning Skid

A Fuel Gas Conditioning Skid is a specialized system used to prepare fuel gas (such as natural gas, propane, or butane) for use in industrial processes, power generation, or combustion systems. The purpose of the skid is to ensure that the fuel gas meets specific quality and operational standards by conditioning it through filtration, heating, pressure regulation, and other processes. This is critical for optimizing combustion efficiency, protecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Vi Energ Fuel Gas Conditioning Skid will have following key components to full fill clients speciifcation and requirements.

  • Particulate Filters: Remove solid particles such as dust, rust, and debris from the fuel gas to protect downstream equipment.
  • Coalescers: Remove liquid contaminants like water and hydrocarbon liquids that may be present in the gas.
  • Electric Heaters: Used to heat the gas to a desired temperature, which can improve combustion efficiency and prevent condensation of hydrocarbons.
  • Fuel Gas Heaters: Specifically designed to heat fuel gas, often using steam or other methods.
  • Pressure Reducing Valves: Regulate the pressure of the fuel gas to ensure it is within the required range for safe and efficient operation of combustion equipment.
  • Pressure Relief Valves: Protect the system from overpressure conditions by releasing excess pressure.
  • Flow Computer: Calculates and controls the flow rate and other parameters based on real-time data.
  • Data Logger: Records operational data for monitoring and auditing purposes.
  • Controllers: Adjust settings for heaters, pressure regulators, and other components based on sensor inputs.
