An Emergency Shutdown (ESD) control panel is used in well testing to control the surface safety valve and actuator on the Christmas tree and flowhead. It can be controlled manually or remotely in response to emergencies like pipe leaks, equipment malfunctions, or fires. The ESD panel helps to isolate the well stream before any significant hydrocarbon releases occur, which can reduce the risk of injury and environmental hazards.

Vi Energ’s ESD control panel have following features:

• The ESD panel can be controlled remotely from a console or from remote stations. ESD panel used Air-driven hydraulic pump to apply pressure to open valves and release it to close them. ESD Panel uses high- and low-pressure pilots.
• The ESD panel system includes a reservoir tank is designed to have capacity to receive whole system hydraulic oil when ESD system actuates.
• The ESD system are connected and looped using high pressure pneumatic and hydraulic fittings to withstand high pressure upto 15000 Psig.
• Pilot control valve: The ESD system includes a pilot control valve.
• Local ESD push buttons: The ESD system includes a local ESD push buttons.
