  • 1. Separator Vessel: The main component where the separation occurs. It can be designed as vertical or horizontal, and it uses gravity and other principles to separate the phases.

    Typical Process Flow

    • 1. Feed Inlet: The mixed fluids enter the separator vessel through the feed inlet.

    • 3. Phase Removal: Each phase is removed through separate outlets:
      • Gas Outlet: Typically, at the top of the vessel.

      • Water Outlet: At the bottom of the vessel.
